Hello all. Just wanted to remind everyone that we will be having a NBHA TX 34 Barrel Race this
Saturday, August 22nd, at Brackenridge Arena in Edna. After our little break it's time to get going
again!!
Also, don't forget about getting out and finding sponsors! So far we have no awards sponsors for
this year. The sponsorship form can be downloaded from our website (just go to the sponsors page)
or you can pick up a form at our jackpot. Remember - whoever brings in the most sponsor $$ will get
an award.
Directions and address:
Take U. S. Highway 59 to Edna, then State Highway 111 South for approximately 7 miles to
Brackenridge Recreation Complex.

If you are coming from the Rosenberg area or heading south on 59, you do not have to go all the way
to Edna. Take the Ganado exit which is highway 172 and make a left under 59. Stay on 172
approximately 7 miles and you will hit 111. Make a right on 111 and go about 3 miles and you will be
at the arena. You will save approximately 30 miles!!
Also, for those of you coming from the Brazoria/Angleton area, there is a way to take 35 to 111 (this
should be a shorter route), but you should check a map - as there are a few turns to make the
connection. From what I was told, you should take 35 to Markham, where you will take a R on FM
1468, then in half a mile take a L on FM 2431, which will run into TX 111. But please check your
map!!
If you plan on coming up Friday night and need a RV hook up or stalls the park will be taking care of
this for us this time! You can just pay them directly when you get there or you can call ahead and
they will take credit cards - just make sure you tell them you are with the barrel race so you will be
assigned an RV spot by the arena. Just call the number listed above.
Also, Tracy from Tra's photos will be there taking pictures!
